Coral Beeck – Owner/Director
A twenty year resident of the South-west, Coral has been part of the Margaret River wine industry for the past ten years.
As the owner/director of Labour Solutions Coral provides holistic vineyard solutions to the local viticultural community. From a small vineyard labour hire company, she has grown Labour Solutions into a company which manages some of the region's best known vineyards and has immediate access to over 100,000 tonnes of fruit.
Her unique understanding of what is required for quality fruit and wine production comes from her meticulous attention to every detail involved in the grape-growing process. Her vibrancy and commitment to every task sets the example for the rest of the team and makes sure that each vineyard is being operated at its highest level.
Ben Naude - Project Coordinator
Hailing from South Africa’s premier wine region of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape, Ben’s journey has taken him from the University of Pretoria to Vineyard Manager of much lauded Wise Wines, a role he enjoyed for five years before joining Labour Solutions.
As our Project Coordinator, Ben’s multi-discipline approach to vineyard management comes from his understanding of the wine industry as very much an international market. He brings to his role expertise, pragmatism and a real enthusiasm for the Margaret River region where he has chosen to settle. Above all, its Ben’s incredibly high care factor that makes him such an important member of our team.
Ross Reid – Vineyard Manager
Rossy, who originally hails from Scotland, has called Australia home for 13 years now and has been in Margaret River working in the wine industry for 12 of those.
His first job after arriving in the region was in fact as a pruner for Labour Solutions, which helped to fuel an interest in viticulture and wine making. This developed into a passion that saw him spend 10 years working with Ian Bell at Glenmore winery and studying locally in the field.
Whilst at Glenmore, Rossy was heavily involved in growing high quality fruit that has been used in some of the regions finest Cabernets. His work in the winery helped to produce both medal and trophy winning wines.
He has also leased vineyards to grow grapes for his own wine label and so is intimate with every stage of the production of quality fruit and wine.
Rossy returned, after a long hiatus, to the Labour Solutions team in 2015 and has been working in a vineyard management role with us since October 2016.
Simon White – Vineyard Manager
Simon joined our team in early 2017 as a vineyard manager. His role encompasses several clients and covers approximately 85 hectares under vine.
Simon has been in the viticulture industry for some 20 years. He had previously owned and operated his own vineyard from the ground up so therefore has a wealth of knowledge of growing grapes in the Margaret River Wine Region. He has experience with all aspects of viticulture from planting, canopy management, irrigation, vine nutrition, pest and disease control through to harvesting and all types of vineyard machinery. In the last few years Simon has also been involved in producing his own labeled wine.
We are proud to introduce Simon as a vineyard manager for Labour Solutions/ Viticultural Innovations.
Born and bred in the world renown Bordeaux region in France, Alexandra Descard graduated from the University of Bordeaux as an Agricultural Scientist and Winemaker in 2012. Since then, Alex has worked in vineyards and wineries in France, the USA and now Australia to broaden her agricultural skills and refine her winemaking palate.
Alex has most recently worked as part of the iconic Margaret River’s Cape Mentelle vineyards where she has been given a firm grounding in the climate, terroir and viticultural practises specific to the Margaret River appellation.
Alex understands all too well that a healthy vine leads to high quality fruit delivered to the winery which results in the wine Margaret River is so famous for. We are very happy to have Alex with us to assist our managed clients towards vintage 2016.
